We're so happy you're visiting CosplayDirekt.de. To make your shopping experience as relaxed as possible, we've summarized everything important about shipping, returns, and exchanges here.

Don't worry, we are an experienced EU service provider and have been taking care of cosplayers from the EU for over 10 years! 💖


📦 Shipping

Standard Shipping

For most EU countries, especially Germany & Austria, we use our DPD Parcel Service.

  • 🚚 Your advantages: Product prices already include shipping costs & customs duties.

  • You don't have to pay anything extra – everything is already included! (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid)

DHL Express Shipping (DDU)

If you select DHL Express:

  • ⚠️ DDU means: Delivered Duty Unpaid – import duties are initially to be paid by you.

  • After that, simply send the proof of payment to our customer service – we will refund the costs to you! 💌

Please note: With DHL Express, you agree to cooperate with customs clearance. If payment is refused, high costs may arise – in this case, we can only refund 20% of the product price, unfortunately not the DHL shipping costs.


🔄 Returns & Exchanges

At CosplayDirekt.de, we want you to be completely happy with your cosplay! ✨

1️⃣ Defective or Incorrect Items

If you, for example:

  • receive the wrong size

  • receive a damaged or missing part

  • or the product deviates significantly from our description

...then please contact us within 7 days by email with photos. 📸

  • We will provide you with an EU return address.

  • Upon receipt, we will refund within 5 business days.

Note for custom-made costumes:

  • We are not responsible for size errors due to incorrect measurements.

  • If there is a production defect, we offer a partial refund, voucher, or replacement item depending on the situation.

2️⃣ Exceptions

Returns or exchanges are not possible for:

  • worn or washed costumes/wigs

  • products with smoke or perfume odor

  • stained costumes


3️⃣ Cancellation & Changes

  • Please carefully check custom-made orders before submitting them.

  • Changes/cancellations are only possible within 48 hours of the order.

  • After shipping, cancellation is unfortunately no longer possible.


4️⃣ Incorrect Delivery Address

  • We ship to the address provided by the customer.

  • Please ensure correct information, otherwise additional shipping costs will incur.

  • Processing fee: €20 per order before we reship the package.


5️⃣ Return

  • Returns are possible within 14 days.

  • Contact us within 7 days by email and describe the problem.

  • After review, you will receive our return address.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

  • Upon receipt, we will refund the purchase price or exchange the item (2–5 business days).


6️⃣ Exchange

  • Easiest way: return the item & reorder the desired cosplay.


7️⃣ Refund

  • We will notify you after reviewing the return.

  • The refund will be automatically processed to the original payment method within 5 business days.

🎀 Return Policy & Customs Information

(Right of withdrawal within 14 days)

To offer you the best possible prices, we ship all orders directly from China – without intermediaries. This allows you to save significantly on your purchase! 💖

Since international shipping costs and customs duties are already included in the product price and are incurred immediately upon shipping, we want to transparently explain our return policy.


🔄 Right of Withdrawal within 14 days (without stating reasons)

Naturally, we respect your statutory right of withdrawal.
If a costume doesn't fit or doesn't quite meet your expectations, you can return it within 14 days.

We cover the return shipping costs for you – so you don't have to pay anything for the return shipping.


Why is a partial amount retained?

The original shipping and customs costs are incurred during international shipping and unfortunately cannot be refunded. Therefore, we retain a small flat fee:

  • 📦 Standard shipping:
    Refund of 50% of the merchandise value

  • DHL Express:
    Refund of 60% of the merchandise value
    (here, the original DHL shipping costs and customs duties are also considered, as these are particularly high)

  • ℹ️ Note:
    The minimum processing fee is €25.


💛 Our Promise

In case of quality defects, production errors, or if we have sent a wrong item:

👉 you will naturally receive a 100% refund,
including all incurred costs.


📦 Our tip for faster delivery

German customs often scrutinizes shipments with a value over €150 more intensively, which can lead to delays.

Our tip:
If your shopping cart exceeds €150, we recommend placing two separate orders. This usually allows your package to clear customs faster – and your cosplay will arrive sooner!
