After a longer break, our services are finally returning. COSPLAYWORLD.de was founded in 2014 by a Chinese economics student at the University of Regensburg. In his free time, he developed the website and specialized in cosplay and custom-made costumes. With the professional e-commerce system Prestashop, we have successfully processed tens of thousands of orders for cosplay items and wigs over the past ten years – including many individual custom orders.

Special projects included, for example, extra-large Kigurumi customisations or stage costumes for performers at the State Opera. Initially, we faced major challenges, such as standardizing sizes. But step by step, we overcame these hurdles and continuously increased customer satisfaction.

Thanks to direct collaboration with some of the best costume ateliers in China, we were able to continuously improve our offerings.

In 2023, we had to abandon our original website due to technical problems and hacker attacks – the maintenance costs were simply too high. However, with Shopify's modern SaaS system, we have found a stable and user-friendly solution. This is how CosplayDirekt was born, and we also expanded our knowledge in search engine optimization so that our long-standing customers can continue to find us without any problems.

For organizational reasons, we have decided to merge COSPLAYWORLD and CosplayDirekt and continue under the new name CosplayDirekt. If you are interested in unique, personalized stage costumes or high-quality wigs, we cordially invite you to explore our new product range.
