After a long break, our service is back. Tao-TOYS was founded in 2010 by a Chinese economics student at the University of Regensburg. In his spare time, he built the website, first with Joomla, then with the professional e-commerce system Prestashop. Since then, we have completed over 1,000 individual projects for personalized figures – including animal figures and individual cake toppers for weddings – and have also carried out some special assignments for companies:
· Gifts for participants of a golf tournament in Switzerland,
· personalized family figures for a real estate company in Hamburg,
· a special prize "My Dad is a Superhero" for a car brand.
Of course, we faced many challenges at the beginning – for example, in customer communication or packaging. But our artist for the handmade figures is one of the best in China and has continuously developed his technique over the years.
In 2023, we had to close our original website due to technical problems and hacker attacks. The high maintenance costs made continued operation impossible. However, with Shopify, we have found a new, modern platform and have expanded our knowledge of search engine optimization so that our existing customers can find us again.
For organizational reasons, we have decided to merge TAO-TOYS with CosplayWorld and continue under a new name: CosplayDirekt. If you are still interested in unique, personalized figures, we cordially invite you to explore our new offerings. Of course, you can continue to rely on our usual service and highest quality in the future.
